This seminar provides an in-depth look at the skill of reflective listening and examines the ten most common “stumbling blocks” to effective communication. It provides a careful study of the skills necessary to become an effective communicator: rephrasing a question into a statement, the various ways to respond to the speaker’s question, and composing a statement that reflects either the facts or the feelings presented by the speaker.
This training goes beyond the 2-hour introduction workshop by delving more deeply into reflective listening and by providing opportunity for practical application of the skills taught. It is geared for the participant who truly desires to use reflective listening to share God’s love and healing with others in their daily interactions.
The first part of this seminar consists of the 2-hour Learning Styles presentation. Please click on the link for "Understanding the Learning Styles" for a detailed description of what this includes.
Designed for 10-30 participants.
